Tada~! Welcome to my first 2D Shooter game :) This is Galaxy 001, a top-down shooter that I made in partial fulfillment for Michigan State University's course on Game Design and Development with Unity 2020.

I added a lot of features for this project. This is meant to be an introduction for me to learn the basics of programming each object, so I really put effort into adding some crucial game components. Needless to say, I learned a lot!
I listed the added features of the project here:
Design:
- Create new interesting levels
- Add multiple unique levels (1 is RPG-type, 2 is like space invaders, 3 is a boss battle)
- Modified menus
Aesthetics:
- Fully changed the sprites of objects
- Full environment change
- Modified sound effects, music (Some edited through FL Studio)
Gameplay:
- Added powerups for the player to use, modifies firing rate / health / movement speed
- Added new enemies and a boss battle
- Added new blocks, walls, invisible barriers and tilesets/floor
- GUI modified; added boss battle health, minimap, lives indicator
